According to Total Film, Roland Emmerich is planning on a sequel to 1996's Independence Day. I'm betting it kicks off when the aliens steal a copy of Norton Anti-Virus. .
Dag nabbit. 2012 is supposed to be the be-all-end-all of calamity porn. Then again, there were so many questions left unanswered in the first Independence Day, I'm surprised they didn't make a sequel sooner.
